SVS (Security Verification Service), operated by Lux Wireless, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

- Account information: Email address, password (hashed), and payment method (tokenized — we never store raw card data).
- Message data: Incoming SMS messages received by your SVS number, including sender number, message body, and timestamp.
- Usage data: Login timestamps, subscription events, and service interactions for security and support purposes.
- Support data: Information you provide when contacting support, including ticket descriptions and related account details.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Delivering the SVS service (routing messages to your inbox)
- Processing payments and managing subscriptions
- Providing customer support
- Preventing fraud and enforcing our Acceptable Use Policy
- Complying with legal obligations and lawful requests
4. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not share your message content with advertisers.
- We do not build marketing profiles from your messages.
- We do not license or aggregate your data for external use.
5. Data Retention
Message data is retained for the duration of your active subscription. When a number is cancelled (whether by you or due to payment failure), all associated messages are permanently deleted. Account information is retained for legal and accounting purposes after cancellation.
6. Data Security
Messages are encrypted in transit. Payment information is tokenized through our payment processor (we never handle raw card numbers). Access to your account is protected by your email and password. We implement industry-standard security measures including session timeouts and audit logging.
7. Email Forwarding
If you enable email forwarding, copies of your incoming messages are sent to the email address you provide. This transmission uses standard email protocols. You are responsible for the security of your email account. SVS is not liable for messages accessed through your email.
8. Law Enforcement
SVS maintains appropriate records for security, fraud prevention, customer support, and regulatory compliance. We may disclose information in response to valid legal process (subpoenas, court orders, or lawful government requests) as required by applicable law.
9. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support. You may cancel your subscription and delete your number at any time from your dashboard. We will respond to data requests within 30 days.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email. Continued use of SVS after changes constitutes acceptance.
