1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Security Verification Service ("SVS"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. SVS is operated by Lux Wireless.
2. Service Description
SVS provides dedicated phone numbers for receiving incoming SMS messages, including verification codes. Numbers are leased, not owned. The service does not support voice calls or outbound messaging. SVS supplements your primary mobile service — it does not replace it.
3. Message Delivery Disclaimer
SVS does not guarantee delivery of messages from any specific sender. Delivery depends on the sending service, carrier routing, and other factors outside our control. Some services may restrict delivery to certain number types. By using SVS, you acknowledge and accept this limitation.
4. Acceptable Use
SVS is intended for lawful privacy-enhancing verification purposes. You may not use SVS for fraud, illegal activity, harassment, spam, account farming, or any purpose that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
SVS offers 30-day and 90-day subscription plans that auto-renew. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect immediately. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Failed payments trigger a retry sequence; if all retries fail, your number is cancelled and messages are deleted.
6. Number Ownership
Phone numbers are licensed to you for the duration of your active subscription. Numbers cannot be transferred, ported, sold, or moved to another service. Upon cancellation, numbers are retired and may be reassigned after a cooling period.
7. Data & Privacy
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data. Message content is deleted when your number is cancelled.
8. Limitation of Liability
SVS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to failed message delivery, service interruptions, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the current billing period.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email.
